No, the bowls are about expression, which begins with us. You will naturally develop sensitivity and a relationship to music and sound by playing the bowls over time.

Can I begin with one bowl or do I need a set?
Many people begin with one bowl and find additional bowls over time, building a set or a collection at each stage they are ready to expand. Some people want to begin playing a set immediately and when they are ready they purchase one of our guardian sets or we help them to create a bespoke set. How can I see and hear the bowls that you have available?
Our bowls are all available to view online and in person at The Alchemies Studio in Sussex. If you are looking online, go to our shop page to view our entire collection, every bowl has a video and lots of information to read. If you are drawn to specific colours or gemstones, minerals and metals, you can use the search bar.
If you're looking for a particular note, you can now view the relevant bowls collection by tapping/ clicking on the note you need (Just under the search bar).
If you want to visit in person, you can attend a workshop, soundbath or a private session with Genevra at the Alchemies Studio.

Are there any precautions or contraindications to playing bowls?
We advise you to seek advice from a medical practitioner before playing Crystal Singing Bowls if you are pregnant, wear a pacemaker, are photosensitive, prone to seizures or epilepsy, have a serious mental disorder, or are under the influence of medication. You are not recommended to drive a car or operate safety-critical equipment after playing the Crystal Singing Bowls until you feel super awake, present and grounded. We suggest you get full training and gain professional indemnity insurance if you want to play the bowls safely for others.

Individually the bowls start at around seven hundred pounds and go up to several thousand pounds each. The price of each bowl or set will depend upon the complexity of each creation, the rarity of the gemstone, mineral or metal, and the size and additional elements added to the advanced blended bowls with more than one component.
