Suede Mallet

The suede mallets are the original sounding tools designed specifically for use with Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls by Crystal Tones®. When you purchase an Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowl from Genevra at Crystal Singing Bowls UK, each bowl will come with a suede mallet and an o-ring, unless otherwise specified.

The mallet features both a suede side and a rubber tip, offering versatility in the way you play the bowls. To create different textures of sound, you can gently sweep the mallet around the rim of the bowl—experimenting with both vertical and horizontal movements to explore unique tonal qualities. For the most expansive sound, try tapping or striking the bowl with the suede portion of the mallet, approximately one-third of the way down the side of the bowl.

To ensure the suede remains clean and maintains its optimal sound quality, we recommend washing your hands before each use of the mallet.
